The video for Be Here Now is out! It’s a pretty simple concept for a video, but took a while to put together. Time lapse photography with an iPhone isn’t the most streamlined process in the world. When you’re shooting 6-8 hours worth of footage and it doesn’t turn out, well… you have to do it all over again.

A time lapse of a sourdough starter may seem super random, but I think it fits the song pretty well. I wrote the lyrics to remind myself to stay patient, present, and to breathe. There are no shortcuts with sourdough. You can’t rush it and you have to pay attention to what you’re doing. The process from the starter to baking the bread is somewhat meditative to me.

Aside from the video, this week was mostly spent working on designs for the CD jacket insert and finalizing the order for the CDs. I was just about to submit my order with one of the big box, behemoth disc manufactures when I decided to take one more virtual look around for smaller companies and I just happened to stumble across Atomic Disc. They’re a much smaller company out of Oregon and their prices are better!

The inserts that will go in the CD jacket are going to be printed by Moo. I’ve used them before for various print odds and ends and they’re great.
